In Photos: UChicago's Core Curriculum

The Office of Research and Teaching Innovations announces the winners of the UChicago Core Photo Contest

This spring, the Office of Research and Teaching Innovations received dozens of submissions from students reflecting on their experience in the Core, the cornerstone of the College’s transformative curriculum.

The submissions varied—from learning with first-rate research resources on campus, to engaging the benefits of studying in a cosmopolitan city, to exploring histories and languages while studying abroad. Ultimately, these winning photos illustrate how the Core is a shared opportunity to think deeply, work collaboratively, and reach beyond disciplinary boundaries to understand the world around us.
