As part of the commitment to the health and safety of the community, the University of Chicago must have accurate and up-to-date contact information for current students.
Beginning in Winter Quarter 2021, all College students are required to provide a current physical address and phone number in order to preregister and add or drop classes on November 9, 2020. Students without an active physical address or phone number will have a hold placed on their records during week six of the preceding quarter. Notification that this hold is in effect will appear upon login to my.UChicago.
To provide or check the accuracy of your contact information, please access the My Profile page in my.UChicago. To add or confirm address, navigate to the Addresses area and select “edit” to access the page. It is your physical address that must be provided in order to participate in registration activities, even if your physical address matches one of your other address types already on record.
Similarly, to provide or confirm your phone number, please access the My Profile page in my.UChicago and navigate to the Phones area. Select “edit” to access the page and make certain that at least one phone number is present and marked as preferred.
