Procedural Information - FALL 2020
Beginning with move-in, safety precautions will be in place. To allow students, their families, and staff to maintain a safe physical distance, later this summer students will select a specific move-in date and time window using the myHousing portal. The move-in process has been modified and will extend over several days. Students may not move onto campus without a scheduled time. Students and their families should be prepared to select an alternative date and time should their first choice not be available.
In order to help facilitate an easy move-in, please consider shipping your belongings to campus in advance.
We will accept packages beginning September 8, 2020 and these items will be delivered to your room prior to your arrival.
Bring only what’s essential when you come to campus!
Students will need to limit their move-in help to two friends or family members and carts will be available. Every person involved in move-in must wear a face covering and follow all posted guidelines concerning physical distancing and the use of designated pathways in buildings and elsewhere on campus. Please adhere to signage guidance on capacity limits in shared areas such as elevators and bathrooms.
As a Resident living on campus, the current health crisis will impact your housing experience. It is incumbent upon all of our community members, including you, to mitigate the spread of illness and keep our community as healthy and safe as possible.
