UCVision Song Contest

Wanna be a pop star? Try your hand at performing in the UCVision Song Contest! The UCVision Song Contest is a campus-wide song competition in which students submit music videos or video performances of original songs or creative song covers. Students may submit as individuals, in teams, or as representatives of any RSO that wishes to participate. There is no limit to team size. Submissions will be posted online, and students will vote for their favorite submissions at any time between March 1 and March 26. Finalists will partake in a culminating event broadcast live online on Saturday, March 27 from 8:00pm-10:00pm. This event will be emceed by UChicago students, and will feature the videos of the finalists as well as live performances and interviews with the contestants. Viewers of the UCVision broadcast will vote live online to determine the winning song. Finalists will receive fame, glory, and a UCVision trophy.

*This Winterfest event is Maroon Cup point eligible.* 25 points will be awarded for UC Vision finalists. While we encourage as many of your house members as possible to become involved with Winterfest, like Intramurals, your house will be limited to earning points just once for this activity. Even if your house has several UCVision finalists, you will still only earn 25 total points. To be eligible for Maroon Cup points, all individuals/teams must include their house’s name within their entry.  If participating as a team, all team members must be eligible house members to earn Maroon Cup points.
