Lexie Holden

Political Science and Germanic Studies Double Major, Human Rights Minor

Alexandra “Lexie” Holden is graduating with majors in political science and Germanic studies and a minor in Human Rights. While at UChicago, she was active with University Ballet of Chicago and the Native American Student Association at OMSA, along with serving as a Pozen Center Human Rights intern and interning with the Office of Illinois State Senator Kwame Raoul.

A member of the Dodd-Mead House Council for four years, Holden’s favorite memory is participating in (and winning) Burton-Judson’s annual Halloween competition.

“Our trick-or-treaters typically come from shelters for victims of domestic violence. Seeing the smiles on their faces makes hot gluing my hands together to make 23 tiny felt hats all worth it in the end.”

Post-graduation, she will serve as an Emerson National Hunger Fellow with the Congressional Hunger Center.
