The Physical Sciences Teaching Prize

Open to graduate student lecturers and graduate student teaching assistants in the Physical Sciences Collegiate Division

Each year the Physical Sciences Collegiate Division and the Physical Sciences Division present a teaching prize to graduate students, recognizing their exceptional teaching of College students. Up to three prizes of $750 and a certificate are awarded annually to those judged to have been most effective in undergraduate instruction in a physical science course during the previous year.

Nomination Requirements:

  • Only University-affiliated individuals may nominate, with emphasis given to nominations from undergraduates.
  • Submissions must be in the form of a typewritten page signed by the nominator, outlining the graduate student’s contributions to undergraduate education, either as graduate student Lecturer or Teaching Assistant.
  • Submissions are due no later than Monday, Dec. 17, 2018.
