Different units in the University are responsible for various policy documents depending on the communities involved. We’ve collected some of the more common ones for you here. Your College adviser can assist you with any policy questions you may have.
If you’re teaching in the College, “Policies and Procedures Regarding Teaching Schedules, Grading, and Advising in the College” [PDF] contains everything you need to know about the administrative responsibilities associated with course instruction.
The College Catalog maintains the current official policy on a number of academic issues. You can use the links on the right to find this information, or download the complete chapter PDF for all College Catalog policies.

Make an appointment with your adviser at the reception desk (Harper, 2nd Floor) or by calling 773-702-8615. You can reach the Adviser-on Call for urgent issues at this number too.

You'll need to fill out this form if you want to take a fifth class, request transfer credit, take a course in the graduate divisions, etc.

To make changes to your status, download the PDF and turn it into the Dean of Students in the College.
