Although you will have required meetings with your adviser during your time in the College, you can always set up a time to meet if you have questions about courses and programs of study and/or University rules and regulations. You can schedule an appointment by calling 773-702-8615 (except for the first two days of the quarter), or in person at the Dean of Students Reception Desk on the 2nd floor of Harper Memorial Library.

Note: Students who do not attend a required conference by the end of 7th week are prevented from accessing the Course Request System. Students who do not attend a required conference by the end of 10th week are prevented from participating in add/drop period until that conference has been held. Advisers may not be able to accommodate last-minute appointments.
College advisers are available for appointments beyond required meetings. You can schedule an appointment by calling 773-702-8615, or in person at the Dean of Students Reception Desk on the 2nd floor of Harper Memorial Library. Advising appointments are available weekdays between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Most advisers are at lunch between noon and 1:00 p.m.
The procedure for scheduling a meeting with your adviser depends on the time of year:
First two days of the quarter
In person at the Advising Reception Desk (Harper 280) only.
Remainder of the quarter
In person at the Dean of Students Reception Desk or by calling 773-702-8615.
