The Office of the Dean of Students in the College provides academic advising and support to undergraduate students. In addition to the College advisers, the following resources are available: the Harper tutors, health professions advising, scholarships advising, and CAAP. Beyond the Office of the Dean of Students in the College, students can arrange for professional and graduate school advice through our pre-professional advising programs.
Students interested in gaining research experience will want to make note of this: the Memory Research Lab is currently recruiting undergraduate volunteer research assistants. For approximately seven hours a week, RA’s will run experiments, work with study participants, analyze data and have the opportunity to discuss current trends in the field with the lab’s professional staff. Some current studies involve false memory, the interaction of imagination and memory, and patient studies with Alzheimer’s Disease. This is an opportunity to work in a fascinating setting and anybody looking for lab experience – hi there, premeds – should think about signing up.
