About Our Features

To complement our innovative new site design, the College is taking a fresh approach to our main features. Our College Media Editors, a group of talented students from the College, take charge of discovering, developing, editing, and publishing all of the feature content for our main page — from our main story, to the community profiles (Uniquely Chicago) to College Events, and our Twitter feed (Chicago Now). 

Main Feature

Our main feature will highlight the news, announcements, events related to the College and may take the form of a video, photo essay, or story. Our College Media Editors develop the features for this area, often following leads and ideas brought to them from the campus community. 

College Now

Find out what is being said about, by, and for the College of the University of Chicago. Our tweets are culled from myriad sources (students, student publications like the Maroon, official University accounts) and are selected for publication based on their interest and relevance to the College community.

Uniquely Chicago

Get a closer look at the students, faculty, and staff that make up the mosaic of the College. Each month we’ll profile another member of the College. 

Events

There’s always something happening at the University. Our Events calendar will keep you informed of the cultural, entertainment, and academic opportunities available on campus. 

College Media Editors

The College web page is maintained by our crack team of College Media Editors. These students are responsible for developing all of the content you see on the College home page.

We encourage suggestions and submissions from the University community. If you have a story or a suggestion for one of our main features, please let us know – our College Media Editors will work with you to develop it for publication on our home page.
